Day 1: Cusco – Km 82 – Hatunchaca – Ayapata
Start early with pickup from Cusco or the Sacred Valley, followed by a drive to Km 82. Begin the trek with a scenic 6-hour hike, visiting Llactapata and stopping for lunch at Hatunchaca. Camp overnight at Ayapata (3,300m).

Day 2: Ayapata – Dead Woman’s Pass – Chaquicocha
The toughest day begins with a 4-hour climb to Dead Woman’s Pass (4,215m), followed by a descent to Pacaymayo for lunch. Continue to Runkuraqay Pass and explore Inca sites before reaching the Chaquicocha campsite.

Day 3: Chaquicocha – Intipata – Wiñaywayna

Day 4: Wiñaywayna – Sun Gate – Machu Picchu – Cusco
