What to Pack for a Cusco City Tour & Pisac Archeological site.

  • When taking a Cusco City Tour, it's important to pack wisely to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Here’s a suggested packing list to help you prepare:
  • Backpack or daypack: A small backpack or daypack is useful for carrying essentials like sunscreen, water, snacks, and a camera.
  • Comfortable walking shoes: Cusco is known for its steep hills, cobblestone streets, and uneven terrain. A sturdy, comfortable pair of walking shoes is essential.
  • Lightweight, layered clothing: The weather in Cusco can be unpredictable—typically warm during the day and cool at night. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing that you can layer as needed.
  • Sunscreen and hat: The sun at high altitude can be intense, so protect yourself with sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat or cap.
  • Water bottle: Staying hydrated is key, especially at high altitudes. Bring a refillable water bottle and remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
  • Snacks: Bring energy-boosting snacks like granola bars or fruit to keep you fueled during the tour.
  • Camera: Cusco is rich in history and architecture—don’t forget your camera to capture the stunning sights.
  • Cash: While many places in Cusco accept credit cards, it’s a good idea to carry some cash for small puchases and tipping.
  • Personal medication: Be sure to bring any necessary medications, with enough for the entire trip.
  • Rain gear: Rain is possible year-round in Cusco. Pack a light rain jacket or travel umbrella just in case.
